Dr. Richard (Rich) Santiago is a leadership coach who helps leaders grow through greater self-awareness and intentional behavior. With over 35 years of leadership experience and talent development roles, Rich partners with mid- to senior-level leaders across financial services, higher education, technology, and government to strengthen leadership effectiveness, lead change effectively, perform in a new role, and improve cross-functional team management.
He holds an Executive Coaching Certification from the Center for Executive Coaching, an ICF-accredited program. Rich’s coaching certifications include Change Leadership, Culture Change, Strategic Planning & Execution, and Time & Productivity Leadership. He is certified in the E3 behavioral assessment and Blindspotting. Rich earned a PhD in Organization and Management. He also earned a Master of Science in Administration (MSA). His PhD and MSA are both with specialization in Leadership.
Rich provides 1-1 and team coaching. His coaching style is positive, supportive, customized, and insight-driven to foster meaningful growth. His coaching approach is grounded in behavior-based development and the belief that self-awareness is the foundation for achieving our highest success. Clients can expect a strategic thought partner who offers honest feedback, encourages reflection, and helps translate insight into action.
He is currently the Director of Global Finance Operations at the US Army Intelligence and Security Command where he manages a cross-functional team with over 40 individuals. He leads global change management efforts related to Financial Operations and Business Systems Modernization. Previously, he served as Vice President of Education and Corporate Advisory Board Member. Rich has been a faculty member for several universities since 2009. Rich also retired from the US Army after 25 years of active service.
Outside of work, Rich enjoys running, lifting weights, and spending time with family and friends. He has a passion for helping individuals increase their self-awareness so they can achieve their full potential and career goals.
