Jamie Cornell

Jamie Cornell is a leadership coach who has dedicated 25 years to empowering leaders through learning and development, coaching, and facilitation. She partners with managers and executive leaders to strengthen their emotional intelligence while challenging them to cultivate intentional, impactful leadership behaviors.

Jamie's journey began with an adventurous start—after earning her BS in Wildlife Ecology from Texas A&M University, she spent two years volunteering with the Peace Corps in Senegal, West Africa. This experience shaped her global perspective before she earned her MA in International Development from the University of Denver. Since then, she has passionately devoted her career to supporting and challenging leaders to reach their full potential within organizations.

Jamie is a certified coach through the World Coach Institute (WCI) and a certified Organizational Mindfulness Teacher through the Institute for Organizational Science & Mindfulness (IOSM). She holds certifications in Everything DiSC, E3 behavioral assessments, and Blindspotting.

Jamie employs her approachable demeanor, systems understanding, and adaptable communication style to inspire lasting change for groups and leaders. She partners strategically with clients to provide direct feedback and challenge previous assumptions. Her approach helps bridge the gap between insights and actionable results. Jamie is particularly effective at coaching leaders and teams in the nonprofit sector through organizational transitions, role changes, and complex team dynamics.

For Jamie, leadership isn't just a profession—it's a way of life. When she's not coaching clients, you'll find her volunteering with local youth organizations or orchestrating the daily adventures of her busy household: four humans, one dog, and one cat.
