David Parks

David Parks is a leadership coach who helps leaders and executives increase self-awareness, shift behavior, and achieve meaningful business outcomes. With over 25 years of hands-on management and international leadership development experience, David illuminates the path for those navigating complexity, transitions, and expanding responsibility.

Grounded in research and proven methodologies, , and results-focused. He is certified in the Leadership Circle Profile® (LCP) and the Collective Leadership Assessment® (CLA), and has completed both the Accelerating Coaching Excellence (ACE) program with Coaching.com and Seth Godin’s altMBA. His work in organizational transformation has been recognized with top industry honors, including the Bersin by Deloitte WhatWorks® Award, the HCM Excellence Award, and the Brandon Hall Award for Leadership Development.

David has coached leaders from organizations such as Microsoft, GE, Mayo Clinic, Stanford Medicine, Salesforce, GAP, Symantec, and Qualcomm. His pragmatic, relational approach is deeply influenced by his upbringing in rural Northern Ireland—a place where storytelling, wit, and authentic connection are cultural staples. These roots shine through in his coaching, where curiosity, deep listening, and meaningful feedback spark new thinking and courageous action. Coaching, he believes, should challenge you—but it should bring a smile, too.

Earlier in his career, David worked for Marks & Spencer and Omnicom in the UK. After moving to the U.S., he worked with Tom Peters (In Search of Excellence) and later co-founded Bluepoint Leadership Development. Today, he devotes his full focus to coaching senior leaders and executives.

David lives in Tiburon, California. Outside of work, he’s completed more than 200 triathlons and endurance events. Most often, you’ll find him cycling the Marin Headlands or swimming in the San Francisco Bay.
