Cris Jacobs

Cris is a Leadership Coach who supports clients in breaking through mindset and behavioral patterns that keep them stuck, helping them move forward with greater clarity and resilience. Drawing on over two decades of coaching experience, Cris specializes in coaching leaders to make more intentional choices navigating career growth, transitions, and relationships.

In addition to his coaching experience, Cris’ approach is based on years of Psychology and Personal Development studies, with practical insight from an earlier corporate career (Finance and Pension Investments). He offers a grounded, structured path for clients seeking sustainable positive changes. Using a direct yet compassionate presence, Cris emphasizes uncovering and resolving limiting patterns, often saying, ‘I’m here to help clients remove constraints to who they are, not to change them’.

Cris has worked with professionals as a Leadership Coach and a Consultant across a wide range of industries, including finance, consumer products, and healthcare. His clients are often senior leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals at a personal or professional crossroads.

As an instructor, Cris has facilitated classes in Personal Development, Body-Centered Psychology, and the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT, or ‘tapping’).

Cris holds an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and a BA in Psychology and Economics from Duke University. Most recently, he became a Certified Professional Life Coach (Certified Life Coach Institute). Earlier, he earned an Advanced Certificate in Core Energetics (Body-Centered Psychology) where he studied with John Pierrakos MD, the renowned psychiatrist and founder of the Institute of Core Energetics in New York.  He has also pursued additional in-depth training in Body-Centered and Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Hartford Family Institute. He also holds a certification in the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

Outside of coaching and studying new skills to help people grow, he enjoys time with his family, walking, reading, and participating in a long-standing meditation group.
