Reliability & Validity of the E3 Assessment

1 min read

The E3 Assessment is based on the Adjective Checklist (ACL), a valid & reliable psychologoical assessment for assessing personality & behavioral traits.

Validity #

Validity refers to the extent to which the E3 Assessment measures what it is intended to measure, that is, behavioral traits and characteristics. The E3 has been tested with thousands of companies and administered over 1,000,000 times. Throughout its use, there is evidence to suggest that the E3 Assessment is a valid measure of behavioral traits and characteristics, but it has some limitations. For example, the self-report format of the E3 Assessment may be subject to biases and limitations in self-perception, resulting in inaccurate results. This can sometimes be reflected by a high Self-Critical score.

Reliability #

Reliability refers to the consistency and stability of the results obtained using the E3 Assessment. As a standardized, and quantitative assessment procedure, the E3 Assessment reduces issues of reliability and comparability inherent in relying on interviews, ad hoc, limited use or abbreviated personality measures. Studies have found that the Adjective Checklist Methodology used in the E3 Assessment is a relatively reliable method for assessing personality, with moderate to high levels of test-retest reliability observed in many studies. However, reliability can also be influenced by factors such as the the population being assessed.
