In addition to coaching for us here at Behavioral Essentials, Wesley Owens is currently the Director of Salesforce Advocacy at Banjaxed Solutions, a tech startup, focusing on Customer Relationship Management, and legal Case Management software.
Before joining Banjaxed Solutions, Wesley developed a strong reputation for innovating people operations. Graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Wesley intended to pursue a profession in academia. However, when the needs of his employer, Automated Records Collection, called for the creation of a professional training and development program, Wesley found his purpose. From curriculum creation, and direct instruction, to, later, training instructors and developing leadership, Wesley revolutionized the employee life cycle at Automated Records Collection, attracting the future acquisition that would make Automated Records Collection a part of one of the largest legal support businesses in the US.
After accepting a leadership role at the new ARC parent company, Lexitas, Wesley continued to feed his purpose of developing others by bringing his training and development programs to branches across the organization.
Later, Wesley would step into yet another growing organization in need of people operations development, Mountain Point, where he assumed the company’s first HR role, as Director of HR, then Director of Talent. Creating and implementing Mountain Point’s first professional development and accountability program, Wesley empowered leadership to nurture team members, and for team members to grow personally and professionally.
An adherent of “Extreme Ownership”, and evangelist for the power of positive reinforcement, Wesley’s passion is singular, develop others to increase their capacity for success.
